Education in Partnership with COVID

As we all know the Pandemic made learning for students really difficult especially when you don’t have a stable knowledge of what to do. New comers especially the one’s that graduated for Grades 7 and 11 will have a very hard time, because some subjects or lessons are hard to understand especially if you don’t know what you are doing at all. I personally experienced a hard time studying, especially at first because I didn’t know what to, and to be honest I was lost in the midst of it. But as time progressed, I coped with the situation that are given to us. That in my mind, this is now The New Normal.

The New Normal has a few advantages and some disadvantages. One advantage, is that you can learn safely at home and not go to school, while the disadvantage is, yes, you’re learning at home but are you really gaining some formal knowledge, and do you really understand what you’re doing? Some students take advantage of digital and modular learning by letting their parents, siblings, or someone else answer the modules or learning materials given to them. And by this doings, teachers get confused if they will give that student a good grade or a bad one, because you’re not unsure if that student the one that actually answered his/her module.

To sum everything up, The New Normal is what were gonna live with as students or who ever you are, until COVID ends. At this point we could only do so much in such condensed amount of time. We just need to be patient for our vaccines and by then were now partially immune to COVID, and for the students just keep your eyes on the price and achieve your goals even at this time. Stay Safe<3

  2. I can relate to what you have said in this post. I also am a student and experiencing difficulty in coping with the new normal and the new way of learning. We must endure the difficulty for now and hope that the pandemic will end in the next few years so that we can return in living normally.
