Me, Myself and I

ABOUT MYSELF…

Hello everyone, my name is Christan Kyle Doria Quarto, 15 years old, and living in Anonang Mayor, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, my birthday is at February 23, 2006. My mother’s name is Nerissa Doria Quarto, 41 years old, a barangay secretary. My father’s name is Romar Andrada Quarto, 42 years old, a pump operator of MVWD. I have a brother named, Nathan Kyel Doria Quarto, 6 years old, his birthday is dated at December 6, 2015. My ambition in life is to become a great doctor, while his ambition is to become a police. Pretty simple life if you ask me.

My life growing at the middle of a cornfield is very amazing, peaceful, calm, and fun. My cousins and I grew up together, so my childhood is pretty worth it. Now talking about myself right now, COVID screw up my personal life, not just mine but everyone else around me. When COVID got serious, education jump shipped from active to inactive. But the show must go on, so DepEd found a way to continue classes. Taking that aside, during quarantine I didn’t have nothing to do, so obviously I gained weight, but Im currently in a workout plan which is going smoothly. Back to my educational life, when The New Normal started like online class, first day of school in The New Normal when I was in Grade 9, it was hard at first because I cant cope with the situation aside. First 2 weeks was a tough start, I was alone at learning the modules given, and I was confused as anything because theres no formal knowledge given to us. But as time passes by I groped on how to manage my time wisely, and atleast try to understand the content of that module, and it got easier to do as time passes. At this time, all what I said is still the same right now.

So to sum up everything I said, I had a peaceful childhood, and growing up it got tough. Quarantine made education to a halt, but it manages to find a way to make it back to the New Norrmal. Education at this point is tough as anything, but also be confident on yourself to think that you can push through it, and get it done. And that sums it all up, stay safe everyone.

  1. Hi Christan! I like your story overall. Even if times like this is hard but try to overcome them especially in your study's. You still have your cousins and your parents to help with your modules. I hope that this pandemic will end and we will go to having a normal life like before. Stay safe in your own home and don't overwork yourself. :>

  2. Overall, I enjoy your narrative. Even if the new normal learning is difficult, maintain your skill sharp and ask your parents or cousins for assistance.
