One Step Closer to The World of Media

 


The Cyber World, or cyberspace, is more than just the Internet. It refers to an online environment where many participants are involved in social interactions and have the ability to affect and influence each other. People interact in cyberspace through the use of digital media. This past month or so, I have learned many things, but I just want to highlight the main discovery that I am willing to share.

What are the learning/discoveries that I have gained?

-          To be honest, I learned quite a few things, but the main discovery I encountered is on how to make a blog. In blogs like these, people, students, and many more can easily say what they are afraid to say personally infront of other people. Like me, I cant put myself to the point that I black out speaking infront of audiences. But through blogs or the net, you can say/write everything you want to say at heart.

What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?  


-          Since I’m new to blogs, there was a point that I don’t know what to do, like I was clueless on what to say, there’s always the voice in my head, “Is this correct?”, “Is what I’m saying even make sense?”, “Is it even interesting?” and some more. These voices in my head made me question what I was writing. And at some point, it made my confidence went down.

How did I address these challenges?

-          It was actually really simple, but it needed some time because I lost some confidence in myself. The recovery was hard because I’m sensitive with my emotions. A friend helped me a lot, because she was the one that can understand my situation and she has been my friend for over 10 years, so she knows me better than any of my friends, except for one. But my mom was the one who regained my confidence, because she was always there helping me through everything I do. So in conclusion my family and my friends are the ones I rely on when I need someone to talk my problems to.


Moving on I will widen my knowledge about these lessons, but there’s a limit of what I know since I’m still a high schooler in the middle of the pandemic. And since we don’t get as much education as we should that just makes it worse, but there’s only so much that we can do at this point.

    Hi! I found your determination in learning ICT interesting. I know that the pandemic has been a nuisance to us high schoolers but we need to endure a little bit more. I can relate to your problem when creating blogs as it was also my first time creating one.

Towards a MORE Resilient Philippines.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought upon the world with challenges. Almost all countries had to shut down their economies to halt the spread of the virus and the Philippines is one of those countries who have taken strict measures by implementing the Enhanced Community Quarantine on 15 March 2020. The lockdown did help in controlling the spread of the virus and apparently, the Philippines is already flattening the curve.
